Other things in the works

I’ve pushed it back a bit but I have serious passion for bringing people and business together. For now, it’s just a matter of finding the right players to make it happen. I have a few people a month ask me about consulting or partnering with them on different foodservice projects. I haven’t found the right fit yet, but if you have something to chat about you can get in touch easily.

I’ve had some conversations recently about the need for a locally run “Groupon” like business. Social coupons that help get customers into business but run on a local level with a bit more meat for everyone. I think that has some legs to it.

I have a fun new project revolving around food coming up next year. Think big city, rogue kind of stuff that will be tailored to serious foodies. The overarching goal is to transform a meal into an amazing social experience. It’s too soon to talk much about it right now, but you can send me an email if you want to know more when it happens.

I spend every Monday afternoon mentoring the culinary students at Carson High School. It’s my way of giving a bit back while I have the opportunity.
